General conditions of the materials

1- In general, all products to be used will meet the following requirements:
- They will comply with what is specified in the current legislation for water for human consumption.
- The organoleptic characteristics or the health of the water supplied should not be modified.
- They will be resistant to interior corrosion.
- They will be able to function effectively under the intended conditions of the service.
- They will not present electrochemically incompatibility with each other.
- They must be resistant, without damage or deterioration, at temperatures of up to 40º, without affecting the outside temperature of their immediate environment either.
- They will be compatible with the water to be transported and contain, and should not favor the migration of substances from the materials in quantities that are a risk to the health and cleanliness of water from human consumption.
- Its aging, fatigue, durability and all kinds of mechanical, physical or chemical factors will not decrease the expected life of the installation.
For the fulfillment of the above conditions, they may be used coatings, protection systems or water treatment systems.
